Bluegrass Concert
Vittles for Vets would like to express our sincere gratitude to Nick McNeil for donating the use of the Little River Bluegrass Barn to Vittles for Vets for the “Bluegrass Concert” fundraising event, benefiting our veteran neighbors suffering food insecurity, for the 2nd year in a row.
Also, a huge SHOUT OUT to Scott Patrick for organizing this event and his outstanding Bluegrass band, Lonesome Heart, for donating their time and energy, for the 2nd year, to assist our less fortunate veterans in Southwest VA.
Finally, a fond thank you to Mr. Jim Flint. He opened the event with his memorable Flag Ceremony, a patriotic and heart-warming presentation serving to inspire, pride and gratefulness for the privilege of being an American in all who heard.
We raised $1,000 at the event for the purchase of grocery gift cards, which will be distributed to veterans enrolled in the Vittles for Vets program.
